Image to Text Analysis

Analyze a local image file and write a short fictional story about it with `OpenAIResponses`.

Create an agent that analyzes images and writes creative text based on what it sees.

Usage

Set up your virtual environment

uv venv --python 3.12
source .venv/bin/activate

Install dependencies

uv pip install -U agno openai

Export your OpenAI API key

  export OPENAI_API_KEY="your_openai_api_key_here"

Add a sample image

Save a real image as sample.jpg beside image_to_text.py before running it.

Run Agent

python image_to_text.py
