List ClickUp spaces and manage tasks with ClickUpTools using CLICKUP_API_KEY and MASTER_SPACE_ID.

Listing and task creation

This configuration excludes create_task, so the second prompt cannot create its requested task. To try creation, remove "create_task" from exclude_tools and choose an existing space in your test workspace. The tool creates the task in the first folderless list in that space; it does not accept the requested list name Project 1. Use the name of that first list in your prompt, or provide a custom tool when you need an explicit list ID. Status values must match that list's configuration.

MASTER_SPACE_ID is the workspace/team ID used by the API, not an individual space ID. Listing covers folderless lists and the first task response page from each. Export the variables below; this script does not load .env itself.

Run the Example

Set up your virtual environment
