print("PASS: Async toolkit functions are visible in the team system message.")Inspect context without a model call
This program only builds the member-tool description and checks that the two async tool names appear. It does not call a model or execute either tool, so the API-key export is optional for this inspection. Use async team methods when you add an actual run; both tool bodies currently return fixed demonstration text.
Run the Example
Set up your virtual environment
uv venv --python 3.12
source .venv/bin/activateInstall dependencies
uv pip install -U agno openaiExport your OpenAI API key
export OPENAI_API_KEY="your_openai_api_key_here"Run the example
Save the code above as async_toolkit_context.py, then run:
python async_toolkit_context.pyFull source: cookbook/03_teams/03_tools/async_toolkit_context.py
