Run the Example

Set up your virtual environment

uv venv --python 3.12
source .venv/bin/activate

Install dependencies

uv pip install -U "agno[os,scheduler]" "psycopg[binary]" openai

Export your OpenAI API key

Run PgVector

Run the example

Save the code above as run_in_agentos.py, then run:

python run_in_agentos.py

Observe a scheduled run

Keep the server and PostgreSQL running. In another terminal in the same directory, activate the same environment and repeat the database/provider environment variables above:

Wait through the next minute tick for the scheduler to claim and execute the seeded schedule. This observer checks the resulting persisted run; it does not trigger an immediate run. Stop this AgentOS before starting another example on port 7777.
